Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is an evidenced-based treatment that addresses the root causes of insomnia including behavioral aspects that drive insomnia along with the unhelpful thoughts that can reinforce sleep disturbance. CBT-I is considered first line treatment for insomnia by the American College of Physicians. I will teach you how to engage in strategies that will get you sleeping through the night and waking feeling mostly rested.
